  1. I have the same patch with a yellow border. I purchased the patch at Tienda Scout in Caracas in June 1983 when I was visiting Venezuela as a volunteer optometrist on mission in Chacao, Chacaito, Maca and Petare. I was with organization Amigos de las Americas for six weeks. We offered vision examinations and gave free eyeglasses to the people. I am an Eagle Scout (1972) in the USA and currently an Assistant Scoutmaster in the Bluffton (Ohio) Boy Scout Troop #256. I live in Bluffton, Ohio. My office is in Pandora, Ohio.

Question: why was the patch with Yellow border? Kuyaima has Red, Blue and Yellow borders for the TriColor of the flag of Venezuela. Saludos!

the original badge was elaborated with red border for the participants to the camp and the blue edge badge for collectors.

The yellow border emission is later for collectors.
